    2008 4x4 Tacoma. looking to replace my struts and shock without breaking the bank. i found a package deal for Monroe for $357. Just seeing if there are better less expensive options. thanks in advance!

    Rock Auto has a great selection of shocks. You can pick the brand you want that is in your price range. I'm looking at buying the bilstein shocks front and back for my 05.

    Also that's kind of a rip for Monroe shocks when you can get OEM shocks all the way around for the same price.

    I just looked on craigslist/facebook marketplace and found someone that took off their 3rd gen struts (coil already on) and was selling them with like 25k miles on them. He was willing to ship if I paid and ended up about $120 shipped for plug and play struts. There’s a few threads out there discussing this topic!
