I've used load bars and ratchet ties or bungee cords for larger items or to divide the bed into smaller sections for totes.

For flat items (like a box) you can put a piece of rubber drawer liner under it. This works very well, it's cheap and easy to squirrel away somewhere when not is use.

Now I'm looking at getting some "Molle" panels (or similar) to lash things to the sides. They don't make them for the Gen 1, so it's a bit more complex to get.

Gorilla Glue or tape could work well!

And with a real answer, you can probably find a mat from dealer and use the free shipping. Last time they did that I got one for $82. Good luck.

Bed mat + rachet straps are your best friend when moving large cargo.

What year and trim level do you have? I didn't see it listed in your profile, but I'm on mobile, so who knows what doesn't show up. Anyway, on the 3rd gens (if that's what you have) there is a mat-like accessory that is made out of a rubbery material, and lays down and covers almost the entire bed, almost like some sort of "bed mat" or something similar. Perhaps this would help?

If someone already suggested this, I apologize I didn't read any of the other replies yet.

I have a 2nd gen bed mat in my truck.

I get more low-end torque with it.

Do you guys normally put the bed mat away and store at home/garage?
Or leave in the truck bed all the time?

I just feel it's something people can steal too easily and it costs over $100 new
