    Ok, quick question.

People talk about after market UCA to correct caster and to improve tire clearance by moving forward.

Is the adjustment to improve caster to the rear and the adjustment to improve clearance to the front?

A fixed caster after market UCA will only make clearance for tires worse?

Still wondering what the deal is

Does using the SPC adjustment to give more room for tire work against you in regards to caster

Using the SPC's adjustment to give more room for the tire will reduce your caster as it pushes your tire backywards against the axle; the opposite of the LCA.

Adjusting your LCAs to provide more room will provide more caster as well but only up to a certain extent. SPCs will give you additional caster, at the expensive of pushing your wheel *from the top*, back to the rear portion of the fender well.

So, what you really want is to have both LCA cams to be pushed completely forward. If that is not enough caster you can play with the SPC settings. I have mine set at default, which I believe is +2.

Here's a good video explaining it.

    Thank you
It can get a little confusing.
