Good Morning gents! One more Doctor for me today - the appointments have gone well. Hoping for more rain than yesterdays 0.03"! Looks like my next projects are going to be greenhouse prep for "winter" and the garage. Got one more little yard tilling and edger block project out front, but that can wait until the highs are in the 80's!

Have a great race day Mike!

Amazingly, exactly like that here! 81*, 94%, sunshine, and hoping for the promised rain! Wednesday and Saturday are my nights for watering, and I blew it off - for 0.03"! Going to need more than that before Saturday.

I'll take a hot September so I can still play in the pool, but we need rain pretty bad. I water the yard and the wife waters the plants so it doesn't look like we're bad off, but boy don't miss a day! It's funny, in Michigan, pool season was always Memorial Day to Labor Day - and it's the same here almost every year! But I want a few more weeks!

    Good Morning Folks .
Packing up for a long weekend upstate and the neighbors corn roast :hungry::drool:. I'll try to get some pictures posted.

Hi Susan, And we are glad to have you . How are the girls doing? Angus is getting ready to be sent home in a week or two, no longer. It was good having him here while he recuperated, but we need to give the house a complete de-furring(I call them Angus puppies) lol. Have a great weekend.

Weather here is hot and humid today but looks like a great weekend on tap for upstate. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and be safe.

Go to the top right of the page where it says "You" Click on that then click on "Signature" and you can then type in what you want it to say just like making a new post.

For what it's worth, if you have a slow internet connection,or if you just don't like the clutter you can turn off "Signatures" by going to "Preferences" and un-checking the "Show signatures" box then you won't see any of them. It can help pages load faster.

Started the day with a dip in the spa. Ran the dogs and had breakfast, then Lynn and I went out to play 9 holes of golf. Came back and spent and hour cutting the grass around our house. Waited while the repair guys put new springs in two of the garage doors, then watched as the furniture upholsterer took out one of the couches to redo. Nap time!!

Hoping for a nice weekend to spend more time in the pool. Today is 79 but cloudy this afternoon - chance of thunderstorms.

Just got done with a "Virtual" appointment with my Dr. and my numbers all came back improved. No longer pre-diabetic, cholesterol good. Lost 8 lbs, and BP is down. I have no idea what I'm doing right. I think it has a lot to do with being retired!

Hey Mike; doubt you would ever run into him unless at a National, but my "cousin in law" from Portland runs one of the SCCA classes....

    There's that golf word again....
Hope we both get pool time this weekend, our forecast is finger crossed - because we aren't getting the rain we are supposed to get today and yesterday, you just KNOW when it will show up. Was going to jump in after piddling around with the truck; as soon as I got done, thunder nearby, so I opted out. Nothing came down of course.

Everyone have a great weekend - it's Pre-Friday after all!
