Had mine line X'd, traction is not an issue, lol thing is you got to watch it if your wearin shorts, they will scratch the hell outta you if you rub up against it on accident

They stick out plenty far enough to use as a step but the thing is they are up real close to the body so they really don't sit much lower than the actual floor of the cab

Also just so you know whatever it is you decide to go with you might get some new squeaks.. my truck squeaks like a lil bitch now because of the stiffer frame from welding the sliders on

Do you think the truck would still squeak if you had the sliders bolted on? Cause I don't think I want my truck to be squeaking all the time.

have you been able to pinpoint where exactly the squeaks are coming from?

mine were obviously in the front suspension but i couldnt pin point them until me and will could bounce the truck with someones ear near the suspension

i've been following this thread and i really like these all pro sliders. I have some questions though for the people that have them. Since you have to drill into the frame, does this void the warranty? are there very detailed instructions of how and where to drill and install these sliders? what kind of drill/equipment will i need to drill the holes?

    thanks

It wouldn't void the warranty unless it could be proved that the drilling contributed to a failure (e.g. your frame failed at the drilling point), which is probably unlikely.
