Anyone seen advertisement for ALASKA OFFROAD WARRIORS?

I actually think it's going to be a second half-season. This was only 7 episodes, way shorter than most full-season things. It makes sense that they couldn't have a full length season with just these guys. Variety is the spice of life. I'm almost positive there's a 2nd half to what we've already seen, but different vehicles (possibly the winner, super heap + new ones?) in what clearly is a much snowier environment.

 

That's one of the many WAY better film and production crew rigs. Check out the Alaska Offroad Warriors FB page, tons of answers and responses from the competitors to the film/ production crew and all the locals that watched the show as it was being filmed.

 

Damn... Had my hopes up. I can't say I loved the show, but I would be just fine with 7 more episodes with a different cast, rigs and scenery.

 

Unfortunately not enough people would watch it. One thing you can say about this show, every talking about it watched it.

 

I mean there is a lot of good stuff on the Velocity channel, so if they don't think people would watch it because it was too "technical", they could probably get signed on that channel.

it’s... interesting

 

I am new to off roading and really enjoyed it, however I know it doesn't necessarily represent actual off roaders. For example the Leigh brothers who are trying to cross Alaska and they don't have any lockers...

Also, I often see them going through mud pits when there is literally miles of flat ground to avoid it. I know you're not supposed to make tracks bigger by avoiding obstacles but like, it seems to be a mostly no-holds-barred race.

It was good entertainment though, especially since I am new to this and have so few places I can go
