So my factory Y pipe is kinda getto'ed together due to salt getting to it. Ordered an AFE catless Y pipe to replace it rather than trying to fix the factory one. Question is, do I need a tune where i'm eliminating two of the cats? I know I wont be taking full advantage of it without one but money is tight courtesy of covid so I'd prefer not to spend the money yet if its not required.

Just fyi currently running an MBRP catback and its stock airbox if that changes anything. Just being cautious as my other cars a subaru and literally every little thing means a new tune.

    Thanks!

(Forgot to mention its a 4.0)

Nope won’t need a tune. Be prepared for rasp/drone.

Perfect thanks! Worst case scenario I have a resonator welded into the cat back, however I should be able to tolerate it after some of the setups I had on my previous cars.
