Geneva Creek, Colorado

Spent the last day of a two week vacation on Monday exploring the Geneva Creek area here in Colorado.


The final destination is somewhere back there in one of those valleys.

The nice thing about exploring the area during the week day was that I had it all to myself and after two weeks of hiking and mountain biking amongst other people this was nice.

 

I love this trail! Great for a non technical day of beautiful views. And the fens are amazing.

Thanks for giving me a weekend destination in the near future! Been looking for something slightly more technical than a flat dirt Forest Service road within a few hours of SW Wyoming (but nothing crazy, my truck is mostly stock). Looks like this fits the bill and comes with some awesome views.

What would you rate this trail on difficulty. I’m new to off-roading but this looks stunning.

 

Its not all that technical. Its a good trail to drive.
