2nd Gen Mirror lights always on.

is there a way to make the turn signal lights come on with your DRLS?

 

Strictly guessing here, but I am guessing that the mirror turnsignals are wired to the rear turn signals. If you have DRL, it should be a simple matter to wire the mirror signals to the front turn signals. Are the mirror turn signals LEDs? If not, you could end up melting your mirrors.

By the instant on appearance of mine I would guess that they are LED.

 

Purchase parts.[Junction Block & T12 connector and 4 terminals 090/2.33 female]
Disconnect negative terminal from vehicle battery.
Access the cab junction/fuse box. (remove lower dash panel)
Pull connectors 1B & 1C from fuse box.
De-pin terminals from each connector as I.D.
Insert removed terminals into connector T12.
Measure distance needed from connector T12 placement to connector 1B in order to reach with neede jumper wires.
Assemble jumper wires (x2)
Insert jumper wires into T12.
Cap T12 with junction block.
Attach negative terminal back onto vehicle battery.
Test.
Secure T12 and Junction Block, button everything back and enjoy mod.

P.S. You'll have either an empty space on each side or an additional "tap" for another LED on T12. Plus the empty slots on 1C where the mirror turn signals were.
