I believe it’s every Labor Day weekend.

I didn’t snag any, but here’s one my friend did. I had to do my first recovery in the dark which was fun. We were on trail 22 and it was super washed out and rutted. My friends front corner dropped into a hole and couldn’t get out. So I had to winch him backwards out of it. Put a snatch block on his bumper and ran the line back to myself and pulled him free.

Sheesh that even looks super deep in a picture so I can’t imagine real life. Sounds like a fun time.

Now to paint and then install the stained wood along to top to finish it off.

Wish my carpentry skills were up to snuff. I try to do stuff all the time and it never turns out so good.

Can't be any worse that whoever the hell finished my basement... Vent register is mounted halfway up a wall and 10* canted to the left. Built in cubbies in the bathroom look like a Salvador Dali painting.

Ohhhhhh. I wish I could show you the garage closet I made in my last home. Fortunately, it was a garage, so I didn't care. But it was enough to make my future wife declare that I would never do carpentry in our home. I can do small stuff and that's it.

I made her a plant stand out of 2x4s. I tell her to lie and say to people we found it on the side of the road!

Oh yeah, I got to use the front locker a couple of times today. I’m getting more comfortable with it and realizing that while I must be cautious, these front ends aren’t made of glass. I don’t have to be quite as gentle as I was in the beginning.

And another nice pic, just because.
