Pour over FTW. We use those plastic Melitta pour overs and unbleached #2 filters. We've got a lot of good local coffee roasters which is our first choice but we'll brew just about anything in a pinch. I also like the taste of french press and sometimes even a percolator. But the fact is I'm lazy and pour overs are easier because there's zero mess to clean up other than throwing away or composting the filter.

From a couple weekends ago. Everyone had a jet boil thing and the French press. They were all drinking coffee in 2-3 minutes.
    Not me. (12-15 minutes)
Old school. The reason I go camping is to enjoy a few cups of coffee from the percolator, sitting in my camp chair!

I finally had really good coffe last weekend. The thing I did differently was to NOT boil my water and periodically taste till it was perfect with the MSR filter in my mug.

I'm gonna change my vote and say the best camp coffee is a camp mimosa.

I like creamer and sweetener in my coffee, I can’t stand just straight-black coffee. I use the powder stuff and some packets in a resealable ziplock bag.

To sound like a coffee snob, you should try fresh coffee from a roaster (local or online). I’ve been making coffee for friends and everyone has been like wow, I can actually drink this black. Not all of them do but you never know. Fresh ground is the best!

The Black Rifle Murdered Out impressed me. It's a bit pricey for an everyday coffee, though, at least to me.

What do you use? I have that ceramic pot thing from Amazon. It’s some pretty solid coffee even though I can only roast enough for a couple cups at once

I use a "popcorn popper" on a hotplate for outdoor use. I roast one cup of beans at a time, and normally do back to back roasts for about 10-14 days of beans before having to roast again...

That’s pretty cool! I’ve heard of people
Using those. I like the ceramic one since it’s all by hand. Some day I might get a fancy roaster but not there yet haha

That's not what I consider "fancy," since I have to crank the handle during the roasting process...lol
