I've been using cooking spray for awhile on the beads and really like it. Slick as a gut and doesnt dry up.

Good job! Man I've done a little head scratching to make sure I've got my directional tires going the right way. Easy to get mixed up.

What are you using it for? I had a skidsteer for several years and sold it for a tractor with a loader, they both have their place and purpose

 

I have 2 acres, want to clear stumps, grade mounds, and clear snow with a blower attachment.

Right now I do stumps and grading with a shovel, my back hurts. I have an ATV with a blower on front, but that's two motors and the ATV is old and runs bad in the cold. can tractors have a trailer for hauling logs to my processing area? I was thinking a compact Kubota or Yanmar. I read HSTs suck the pwoer out of these things and I want to be able to lift large rocks and stumps with ease.

 

Every tractor has its limits on lifting. As for a trailer, yes you can use the draw bar it put a tow hitch on the 3pt arm.
They make shovel buckets for the FEL but a backhoe would be a better option for removing stumps. A bobcat will move more material faster than a tractor but also limits you on other tasks. Of course if you have the coin you can add just about anything to a skid steer with the hydro pressure they provide. I wouldn’t worry about Hydros “sucking” your power unless it’s a real small machine. I know the 1 and 25hp 2 series JD share the same system for power steering but the larger ones have a separate pump flowing more GPM. Another spec to look at is the overall. GPM (speed of FEL operating) and the lift capacity.

 

I believe the Kubota L-series give you the option of hydro or standard transmissions. No mid PTO though, so you’d be snow blowing in reverse.

I would definitely want the blower to be on the front of the machine; what should I look for that indicates that a possibility.

At this moment I am liking the Kubota B2320 - seemingly good discount/financing offer.

My budget is ~$20k +/- with implements (FEL, BH, Front Blower)

 

for a front blower you will need a mid PTO or get real fancy and a hydro run one with a tank/pump run off the rear PTO but that will blow your budget of 20k. Note that adding a front blower will be significantly more than a 3pt one. Ive only had a rear mounted blower so its all I know and works just fine for my needs. 54" and handles anything i have on the ground, including 3 feet of plow wash at the end of the driveway.

 

Guy down the street got a hydro one last year. Can’t blame ‘em, he’s got a lot of front drive to do. Said he wasn’t happy with the performance until I pointed out that he needs thinner oil when it gets this Cold. He got the dealer to swap it out & smooth sailin’ since. Can’t believe the punted the unit out the door with that oil. Especially around here.
