Greetings and Hello from Northern California

I have a question for the experts, but wanted to post my introduction first

I've owned the same 2000 SR5 for twenty years/200k miles, and will probably keep it until they pull my plug. Manual 2.7. I've done my best to leave it mostly stock. Guess I just like how they made 'em ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Only real "mods" are the bed cap, brush guards, and a few other this-n-thats you see in the pics. When it was time for new shocks I swapped in the TRF Bilsteins. Oh, and I almost forgot that I replaced the discs and drums with Brembo direct replacements. If you're curious, I've put almost a 150k on them and they feel just as true as the day I installed them. Big upgrade for those familiar with the pitiful front discs these earlier trucks came with.

Seen lots of offroad miles; Mendocino, Humboldt, Lassen, Shasta-Trinity. Went a little too far up the Rubicon because I have a habit of not listening to reason Oregon, Montana, Wyoming, Nevada, Utah, and Colorado too. Never regret a minute or mile of it.

Where in Northern California? I've lived in Oakland since '98

 

I'm in Oakland and love it. The pics are from Mendocino, Los Padres, Lassen, El Dorado, and Humboldt (in order from first to last)

Del Norte is an amazing part of the State; I need to get up that way more often!

 

When I make my way back out there from Texas..... someday. I'll definitely check that spot out!!
