So my Tacoma was rear ended while parked. I was under the impression that the it had an alarm system but the I didn't hear anything. Do the tacomas have an alarm system or is it just for locking and unlocking the truck?

That sucks! It's an intrusion alarm only, no shock/motion sensors.

Best to get a dash cam and rear camera so if something hits ya you got picture of these assholes .alarm wouldn’t done much but make them drive off faster .
