I had a 1948 39A that I lost in the divorce. It belonged to her grandfather so it was right to let it go with her. But damn!!! That rifle just may have been my fave shooter. Ever.

My father willed his gun collection to me in my 20’s. Told me to sell or keep or whatever. Was getting married and sold ONE gun. A High Standard Victor .22lr. I was stupid back then and thought .22’s were kind of boring. I wanted Magnums!o_O
I didn’t know it was his favorite gun and he bitched me out for 15 years!
Shopping for powder in a local gun shop and this guy walks up behind me and says ‘can I help you find anything?’ That voice....I turn around and yep, it’s the guy I sold dads gun to all those years ago! I arrange to buy it back and do so. Sold it for $500 and had to give $800 to get it back!! :annoyed::annoyed:

On second thought, maybe they should go to @G8R_Taco because he’s such a great guy. One time, I told him to go out and get 2 B###jobs and come back and give me one. He wasn’t thinking about himself in that deal because he came back and gave me both of them.

They can have it all. I just want the chainsaws and the Alaskan sawmill and will spend the rest of my days making rustic benches for people to sit on.

Guy brought in a Ryobi mower where the handle came out of the arms and pulled a wire loose along with breaking the safety switch. I never work on these things due to the complexity of the system, and I'm sure the third party place will try to say that he abused it, voiding the warranty. I put as many notes as I can on this thing to hopefully keep his warranty intact because 1) this guy was very cool and 2) these things break all the time for the dumbest reasons. Also some guy returned a Husqvarna gas trimmer that he didn't want, so he just gave it to us and I get to keep it!! matches my Husqvarna chainsaw. Fridays are awesome!

Good point. I’ve had some truly close calls on my motorcycle, all of them because of a distracted and/or stupid motorist.

Some of those calls truly scared me... let’s just say I started wearing brown pants on rides, so I wouldn’t be embarrassed on the way back home.

I have Almost finished restoring a 1975 Trail 90. No more "big" bikes for me I dont think. I dont need someone on their cell phone taking me out and allowing my wife to live a happy life with a new husband on my life insurance... shes stuck with me FOREVER!!!!!!! @StayinStock @FishnTx

Tried to take the boat out this morning. I'm taking in water where the Outboard bolts to the transom. I'm guessing the outboard seal is bad. Had it in the water 5 minutes and collected about 3 gallons of water. Pulled it right back out.
