Why are most tires on backorder? I tried to get 4 different models from my local DT store and all were out of stock or a set had to be pieced together from multiple locations.

We appreciate the feedback. We guarantee the lowest out the door price on all the tires and wheels we offer. Should you find a competitor with a cheaper advertised price, let us know and we'll make sure you're taken care of!

My apologies in advance for the inconvenience. I'm not sure why a lot of the popular options are on back order. If we can assist with checking inventory or lead time, please don't hesitate to shoot us a PM.

DTD promotions and deals used to be "too good to pass up", but now they're "blah". Oh well, now it's easier to just buy from WalMart.

I actually waited for the Labor Day sale even though I needed tires weeks ago. The tires I was looking at were $189/ea since June. A week before Labor Day, the price went up to $202/ea. Then the sale came and its only 5% off my purchase because I'm a REPEAT CUSTOMER instead of setting up a new account. In the end, that price didn't matter because those tires were on backorder with no known ETA. I had to go with a more expensive tire to be able to get something that was in stock during the "Sale".
