Hey, does anyone have a suggestion for a better, manlier horn ? The stock horn on my 2013 Tacoma is just weak! I think it’s only 1 horn. I’m used to a louder deeper sound like full size trucks have. I dont want to go the train horn route. J

I can send you an audio file of how my Buick park avenue 4 Horn setup sounds if you are interested.

Lots of guys use the hella.
If you do a search, you’ll even find how to wire them.

I went to the junkyard and found a cadillac with C and D notes, but someone had already robbed the A and F notes... the good thing is, nearly every GM has A and F notes so just steal them off any other GM car. 20 bucks worth of wire/relays/loomwrap and they were wired up. It's important that you wire up additional relays/fuses as these draw a good bit more power than stock. If you blast the horn for too long with stock wiring chances are you'll blow fuses. My horn is no longer wimpy, but be forewarned, it is a little obnoxious coming from a Toyota. I put mine behind the bumper in front of the AC condenser.

On the other hand there are a ton of options on Amazon... I just wanted a weekend project.

Can confirm, Cadillac 4 note horns are the best. Ran a set in my Buick Roadmaster wagon. Perfect horn for that land barge.

I put sharp tones on my Tacoma, totally a better horn and more fitting
