We got 295 rwhp. Granted it is summer here and dyno was done on a 113 degree day. So in cooler weather, I'd imagine that more power can be made.

 

Everyone wants NUMBERS, NUMBERS, NUMBERS. But what I feel is more important is how it drives. Power delivery, shifting, etc. What is you overall impression of the drive-ability now that it's boosted?

Ive heard that throwing one of those bad boys eliminates feeling the need to regear.

 

It is still in the pilot stage meaning that tuning will be fine tuning as people from different regions report feedback so that Magnuson can refine and resent new tunes out to pilot vehicles to be tested. With the blower, it feels like how the truck should drive off the lot but the power curve is very linear and constant. Both trucks we have done have been on 4.88 gears on 285/70/17 and 295/70/17.

Thanks for posting some initial results! What kinda dyno? Hub or rollers? Peak numbers are fun to talk about but let’s see the plots most interested in area under the curve.

And starting numbers(pre-install) would be beneficial to get corrected gain.

 

Dyno charts cannot be publicized at this time.

I really want to see the potential with the 1900 cranked up. I’m sure Magnuson is working hard in the background on tweaking the tunes.

Part of the pilot program as it would be a sense of false information because the tunes are being refined. They only want what the final production tune would be publicized which is more than fair in my opinion.

 

I didn't say they don't exist. If you read my comment, which you quoted so I'd sure hope you actually read it, I said they're sold in pre-order batches. Please let me know how to edit that comment so that it does not mean that the turbos do not exist.

Emailed Magnuson a few days ago. Said pre-orders likely filled in November. Did says there was one shop in Lake Havasu City (for peeps from AZ) that has a couple early units now. Only recommended SDHQ for install in AZ. SDHQ estimated $1500-$1600 install cost and 1 week down time.

 

$7K vs $2k I would hope so!

I'm re-geared and I still want reliable boost.
