Yeah I found an obscure 50cc class I fit in that has no national record set, and the world record is like 19mph. Pretty sure I can beat it haha. I just have to swap back to 50cc from 70cc, glad I got lazy and never port matched for the new kit.

Nice find. I'd bet on you beating that.

The class my friend and his buddies ran had ancient records that were easy to beat and no one was attempting. I think there was a group of three and they all picked different parts of the class? I was surprised at the number of runs that they got to do also. It sounded like a great experience.

I'm sure that you know, but their big struggle was adapting the mixture to the conditions on the salt.

As long as I can get it to run long enough to get to the end of the track I'll have at least a National record haha.

Anyone want to sell me an RM250, or trade for an RMZ250? Sorry just realized I had 249 posts, figured this was a good enough way to hit 250.

Kind of turns into a double wheelie!

High fender on that rig will double down on the aesthetics. And black is definitely the best color way too

I have pretty good luck spinning mine around on the kickstand and just using a rear paddock if i need to keep it vertical. Can still roll it forward and back on the paddock stand.

Not sure how big your bike is though, may not be an option.

I have a BMW S1000RR. I can do the kickstand spin on smaller bikes, but at 5'-7" and not very muscular, I don't trust myself to spin my bike like that. That and a composite (maybe titanium) kickstand make me nervous.

I hear ya, dropping it would be shitty. I laid mine down at the ridge this summer. Was able to fix everything but I still know its been down. Nice bike BTW

Likewise! Those Triumphs are sweet! I almost got a Speed Triple back in the day. Loved the look and sound.

I haven't, but I like the idea, considering how much I have to jimmy my bikes around the shop anytime i want to do anything.
