Well that's a little shitty but nice that retirement is right around the corner for you. My BIL has always had odd hours so we work holidays around it. Sometimes dinners at noon and sometimes its at 7pm and sometimes it's on a completely different day altogether. It was never really an option not to work around everyone's schedules.

Yep, I usually just didn’t attend. They got used to it after awhile. 4 day shifts then 15 days off then 4 night shifts and I’m done!

 

So close!!

 

I can’t say I’m going to do all 4 nights, I only have to do the last one........
