    There's another big blaze just north of Bozeman. We'll be heading that way sometime this week, so I'll have to get some pics of the haze.

    We saw a black bear roadkill the other day on 93, but so far no grizzlies. We're just north of a large bison range, so that's cool. Lots of white tail at home, and soooooooo many birds!

    Went up to Grouse Ridge Outlook today with the wife and pups. Did it all in 2WD. just had to air down to 18psi. bumpy road.

    Coming back down while airing back up at around 4:45p, a ranger pulled up and told us they are closing the area due to the fires.

    This peak is about 3-4 miles away from signal peak as the crow flies. you can actually see it from Grouse ridge.

    Smoke picked up steadily at Jackson Meadows from Sat morning to this morning. Rangers were closing down the campground as we were packing up. Came back via Bowman, smoke was worse there. Turned onto 80 from HWY 20 at noon on the dot and smoke continued to get thicker.

    Well, guess we are screwed temporarily. It's a good choice, but damn. I think most will end up closing.
