I just bought the truck and only have 400 miles on it with very little over 50 MPH. The other day my new ARE Tonneau cover was installed. I love the look but now I hear a lot more "road noise". When I now go over 45 MPH I hear what sounds like a "low" mud tires noise. Is it that I never noted it before or does the cover make a noise ??

Thanks in advance for any thoughts, Be Safe JIM

i noticed a little extra wind noise at highway speeds, from the air deflecting over the cover. I put up with it cause I'm actually getting better mpg readings, and love my cover (Undercover).

at bit late on this but I just got a Extang solid fold 2.0 cover and i do notice a lot more road noise during highway speeds with a tonneau cover. So looks like its normal.
