I have another thread where I discuss my 2017 and its blown transmission.
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/37k-miles-and-transmission-went-out.684277/

Given this, do you think there is a decent possibility of being able to leverage this into the dealership giving me an extraordinary good deal on a Tundra (new or slightly used)? I don't simply mean lip service that they're giving me a good deal, but an actual extension of good faith in response to my situation?

I wouldn't necessarily count on it, dealerships aren't having issues selling pick up trucks right now. Your best bet is to just get the truck fixed under warranty and get a CarMax/Carvana quote. You could than use those quotes at the dealership to see if they will match it for a trade-in.

Probably not. Your trans going out is why warranties exist. It’s not like the dealer did a fluid change and grossly under filled it or something that would give them any reason to give away profit

Highly doubtful. There's no easy way to apply that tactic and get effective results. Too forceful and the sales team will write you off as a Karen. Too diplomatic and they wont take you seriously.

Your best bet is @Kairide 's strategy: sell it 3rd party and only use the cash in hand as your bargaining chip.
