    Does anyone have the stock VFT file for ECU 04B90 they can send me? It seemed to disappear from my computer and when I try to download from the credit server it gives an internal server error.

    VFT 2.0 04B04 needed, not sure how I lost it or where it went.

    Edit: added the 2.0

    How do you guys keep losing the stock files? Lol they come bundled with the installation.. when you make edits, export to a new file. Don’t save over the stock one.

    I will check installation, I was cleaning files on my cramped Mac drive with boot camp. Windows is a space hog and I have deleted all kinds of the extra stuff it installs.

    No, I copied the stock file to a different directory so I wouldn't overwrite it. That file and the original were gone. It's a weird occurrence.

    @OVTune, or anyone who has experience here,
    I sent an email to the zendesk to get the reg file, and mentioned in there that my serial key hadn't come thru. I'm not using gmail, and it's not in my spam.
    Just bought over the weekend so I would assumed I just needed to wait(and maybe still do), but my reg file has now come back before the serial key. My order number is 7222 for the software.
    Thanks

    After editing alternator settings I can confirm I am sitting at 14.5 volts during idle on the micrometer and while driving Munson cigarette plug garage also reads 14.5. Looks cherry to me. Thank for the help guys

    Ignorant question... is it frowned upon to share tune files with one another? Is there anything risky about me putting my tune on this site for people to try?

    Not sure. I would definitely put a "use at your own risk" disclaimer in the post.

    VF install Question

    I purchased the VF s/w over the weekend and have started the install process and have got to the on-line registration where you need to insert a email, user name, password plus the master key(serial key) which I have not received. Does OV tune send me the master key(serial key) based on my order?

    @ihatemytruck
    @tonered
    @Shellshock
    @mZiggy

    This is the post that sparked my question about sharing files.
    I've literally lost sleep trying to get this right, and I feel it's so close I aught to share it :D
    This is my attempt to get the 1.05 performance throttle feel with the buttery smoothness of the 2.0 shifts. I'm honestly excited to be able to share this as I feel I owe it to you guys for helping me out.
    Disclaimer: THE ONLY THINGS CHANGED FROM THE ORIGINAL 04B04_REG_STOCK_THX_33 TUNE IS THE ACCELERATION THROTTLE REQUEST TO AIRLOAD TABLE, and the file name.

    ENJOY

    Nicely done.

    Looking forward to seeing what people say about it. I'm interested in following progress like this because I want to learn to make edits like this myself.

    Well feel free to download and see what changes I made compared to the stock files. It'll give you an idea of which direction to head. I think what I got with this file is absolutely awesome! It's hammers hard when moderately depressed, but you're still able to smoothly accelerate unlike the 1.05 tune. If you need me to add the stock file so you can compare just let me know. I am not claiming to be a professional, but I think this shit is great :D I hope anybody that decides to try it feels the same. If you can make it better... please share! Again, my only reason for sharing this is to try and give back to a great group of fellas that helped me out with all my questions. Thanks again boys! :hattip:
