Why, you didn't take it. Your uniform is sanitized, no rank or name tag showing. I suppose that flight line was a restricted area? Hope you didn't get hammered too bad. Thanks for your service, BTW.

Jeez, the C-5 has a lot of wheels.

Thank you. My buddy and I were the only ones in that plane besides the cargo. We had a briefing before we left of things NOT to do when we landed, taking pictures was one of them:annoyed:. I was a US Army Ranger and those dessert uniforms where modified with the front lower pockets removed and attached to the sleeves,(today's Army ACU's were modeled after these) they were considered "sterile BDU's" just name tags, no unit patches or rank or school insignias.

Yeah, if you were briefed not to take pics, then.....

I was a C-141B medical aircrew (Flight Nurse) during Desert Storm, we were told to leave our cameras at our base quarters, 1- so as not to take pics of items the enemy would like to see, if 2- we crashed or were forced to land and our cameras were taken or found. Sort of difficult to have good mementos, but some of that shit you never forget and the mental image is crystal clear.

Damn Rangers always breaking some type of rules or regulations. At least you were not wearing your
    Ranger bikini shorts. :oldglory:
