What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I’m trying to reduce my mod pile a bit and pulled out a kicker powered sub that’s been in the pile for about a year.

I’ll post pictures tomorrow of the mounted sub. I put it on the driver’s side behind the rear seat. I made a base that locks it in place using HF foam floor tiles, and trimmed the outboard edge of the storage area so it would fit.

I’m going to try and finish wiring it up tomorrow and did a little work on the control knob. I like matchy matchy.



I trimmed down the knob housing and pulled out a spare radio knob from Derek @OneMoreToyota



I’ll be installing this in a Toyota switch blank. I’ll also do a better job of sizing and centering a home cut kicker sticker, but this is what it should look like:

I upgraded my coils and leafs to the heavy duty versions. Also changed out my stock upper control arm's to JBA's and added the U-bolt flip kit with Timbren bump stops. And Method finally had the flush mount center caps. So those got installed as well. Thanks covid!

 

Goodyear had a good deal on tires for labor day, grabbed some Duratracs 265 75 16.
Before and after. I like it. 2"F/ 1"R lift is next.

 

Swapped my 2020 OR tail lights for some 2020 TRD Pro tails

 

Installed glove box and center console organizers!

 

Thats nothing I traded in a 17 with 24k on it for my 2020 have had the 20 sense june 12th have right at 2k miles on it

Okay question have any of you guys/gals bought anything from Alibaba Was looking at the stuff on there and man front pro grille is like 40 bucks etc.. just wondering what your thoughts were

 

Yeah. It’s not so much the heat that bothers me. It’s the intense humidity

 

I've purchased things from AliExpress in the past very inexpensive stuff nothing major. Delivery is usually around 2 weeks but that was before Covid. You need to be careful, quality on some things iffy. Haven't seen the skid plates. Mine is OEM. was under $300 with free shipping but don't remember from which dealership, I've had it for a while and just recently put it on.

Yes! You'll get more than one look with them and they are 100% REAL carbon fiber

 

I bought and installed Eco bumper caps on mine...a quick and cheap fix until I eventually swap out the bumper...down the road..
