    Got a few keepers from my buddies boat, but been shore pounding halibut shakers for the last two months. Patience paid off today with a PR 31” 11.6 lb halibut. Hit so soft didn’t even ring the bell. Got home too late to bbq tonight, can’t wait for tomorrow!

    Paid in blood and 20 minute lost flip flop. Long after bonk, it started flopping around and almost took a water slide down the rocks. Dove on that shit like a grenade in front of the platoon...

    Caught a snake today on a frog lure... How are you supposed to untangle your line when the snake wraps itself in it? lol Sorry nature, i had to cut that shit.

    I threw another frog lure on it afterwards, and threw it back in the same area. It was amazing to watch these snakes go after the frog and how they chase it through the water popping its head up to look every now and then.

At first I thought I was snagged on weedS as he was I guess trying to pull the frog back down into the weeds and it felt like I was never gonna get it out, kept pulling and slowly the snake was pulling out of the ground.
