Hi everyone! I am the proud new owner of a White 2020 Off-Road Tacoma. Total ticket price was 42k so I am not about to tell my wife I am buying new rims and tires. I do however want to get some more aggressive tires. I have been looking at the Toyo Open Country and wanted to know what size is my max without rubbing on anything. If I keep the same 16 inch rims and just want to go bigger, what would the max size TOYO tire be without a lift. Thank you all for your help!

If only there wasn’t a gazzillion threads already asking this same question.

Most can get away with 265/70r17 or 265/75r16 without rubbing on stock setup. However depending on your wheel choices bs and offset, which may cause some slight rubbing at times of pinch weld or flaps, etc.

Welcome and congrats on new truck.

To be faaaaaaaaair on my phone the sticky posts kind of suck. Unless you noticed that you can scroll through them you might overlook them.

or perhaps new users get sent a FAQ with all of the common questions with answers / links to threads.

Ha! good one. We ran the oem Toyos until they were dead - don't worry it doesn't take long.
Replaced them with Toyo RT; 265/70-R17 but you can get them in 16 as well.
