I have a 2018 Toyota Tacoma TRD 4 WD. The A/C compressor and clutch went out at 94K miles but less than 2 yrs old, of course Toyota states the warranty mileage on the A/c is only 36K miles. I replaced with Toyota parts and am now on my third clutch replacement. Anyone else having A/c issue on the Tacoma?

Its not a bad clutch, its the ground for the clutch that is failing. The ground wires are not protected in anyway and will turn green very very fast. Mine failed at 15k, got a new one and then hosed the ground down with electrical grease.

If you remove the ground, clean the wire out, or if its too far gone, cut the ground wire and solder on a new wire, it should work again.

Thanks, also checked grounds on the first replacement and double checked all grounds since this has been an issue in other vehicles. If it is ground issue the only option I have to hang a drag chain on the vehicle.
