You mean, if you're at presumed full throttle it's only showing 80%?

80-82% is WOT in hptuners. So assuming you mean its showing 80% when the pedal is to the floor that is normal. At least thats my understanding.

I am thinking about buying a MPV12, but have a few quick questions. I am wanting this for:

    1. Adjusting speedo reedings for larger tires (I've read that you can't, but also read that you can. So I'm confused)
    2. Adjusting gear shift to "help" compensate for lager tires (33's) (regearing later)
    3. Fix the weird 4th gear hang (has this been figured out yet?)

Is there any reason to buy the pro version?

    Who does tunes on here?

I am sorry if these question have been asked/answered before. I did read through some of the 344 pages.

    Thanks.

No it will not adjust the speedo.

Yes shifting is improved and all trans issues are solved and it drives 100 x better

Probably no reason to buy the pro. Very few of us have.

@JustDSM is the resident master tuner and he’ll pair you with an appropriate trans tune from @nd4spdbh

thats odd as hell the pedal command is rather jarring ya figure it would just be a nice flat line...... some times I wish I just bought a link ecu and threw this pos drive by wire crap in the trash can......but it's still beta so i think i will weight it out tell everthing is fully unlocked.

Mine shows WOT at 81.2% Not sure what the problem is, they just don't want to max out the sensor to avoid error. Edit: I recall this being normal practice on my other Toyotas as well.

I’d look at the actual throttle angle versus percentage. Keep in mind WOT is 84°. If you’re achieving and maintaining 84° at WOT your getting all the “sauce”.

for fun today I may just take the intake tube off and see what angle the throttle blade is at.

I know factory older Toyotas tps will never hit 5 volts inless the tps is advanced way to far foreword.

and then stand alones are calibrated to show 100% at wot

Haha well you'd think it will be at 84deg. Good luck fitting your protractor in there.

yup this. Look at throttle blade angle and accelerator position % the other TPS %'ages are all wack.

On another note, has anyone made sense of adding analog though the pro-link? I tried adding channels using the user defined parameter and the math provided by AEM with ZERO luck or wacky readings. But if I select the 03x0 (WB) and 30-4406 (pressure) sensors that are pre-defined in VCM scanner they appear to work even though the formulas look to be totally different? What am I missing here?

    Scaling Formulas from the manuals:

    Pressure 30-0309

Here's how I did my aem afr (mine is a aem-4110). Don't have a boost gauge so can't help you there.

Some of this you've probably done already.

    Add channel

    External inputs -->mvpi2-->pro link-->mvpi2 Pl a/d input 1 or 2

Then left click on the new channel and choose transform-->user defined

Then at the bottom I fudged the formula a bit to match my gauge as the recommended formula was off a bit

    Description: AEM-4110
    Function: (input/0.543) + 10.3 = output
