I'm pretty good with my performance. my truck is modified a lot but i like to stick with Toyota OE stuff in the motor. except for the tune software which is pretty awful and constraining.

Yeah engine problems would be a concern. But if it works, $350 ain’t that bad. Even if it doesn’t work, $350 ain’t that bad haha.

the question came up recently in a OV thread and OVTune said he believes Toyota has the best units in the mainstream market and he would trust those more from his experience. he talked a bit more about it. I've been on OV 3 years and my performance is already on it, so that was more than enough for me. at one point before that i considered them myself.

Uh huh. Coil packs like this have been offered on Mustang forums for over a decade.

Those guys did dyno tests at the time and found that the "high performance" coil packs were total snake oil. Oh, and they burned out at a faster rate than OEM as a bonus.

    Hard pass.

It does...but the HP boost is counteracted by its aerodynamic drag.

OVtune has stated in the Twin Turbo thread that the benefits from these would be negligible. 1-3% gain at most, which is impossible to measure or quantify when the margin of error between dyno runs is greater than that. 20-30hp gain is a bald face lie.

I don't even understand the logic behind this? "stronger" coil packs? That send more to the plugs? To create a better ignition? Maybe to run smoother if you're having a bad spark, but no more air, no more fuel, no more timing...no more power.

    A spark is a spark.

Their claims are BS defy the laws of physics and electromangnetics.
