    Since they don't have parts to fix it on recall, what makes you think the new ones are any better? My guess is they are waiting to add them to the recall.

    They could very well have the parts, but are allocating them to new production builds while suppliers dump enough into the supply chain to get to the cars they have already sold. 100% a guess, but I could see it happening.

    yep! for all the shit I'd have to take off and at least another $10K loan, it wouldn't be worth it. Taking the lift off, all speakers, amp, big ass ported sub box, cai, grill, tint, etc. It would have to be about even money for me, which wouldn't happen for a 5 yr old truck with nearly 43k miles. I was happy as shit paying this thing off in just 2 yrs. first time in 25 yrs I've had no big truck payment......I need to stop talking about it now..........or I'm calling carvana! hahahha I'm easily swayed by new & shiny things I don't need, I used to trade in my trucks before inspection was due!
