I don't think Amazon sells anything like this that isn't Chinese. American steel is much better quality and I'm willing to pay the difference, but can't find an American-made D-ring shackle recovery unit. Anyone have a source? Note that Rhino USA is made in good ol' P.R.C. and Smittybuilt used to be excellent but sadly their stuff is also being made in China.

Factor 55 makes one and so does warfab. Warfab’s has a skid and recovery point combo.

Was just about to say Factor 55. Pretty sure everything they sell is made in the US

Isn't there a group buy going on for their hitch skids now too? Also not sure if I'm reading OP correctly, but he may just be asking fro the d ring?

edit: nevermind. I think he IS looking for the whole package.

Still cheaper than factor 55. Bet they could work with OP to make just the receiver without skid if he wanted to go that route.:spending:

Factor 55 sells crosby usa shackles, I bought a couple, not cheap. You can find cheaper crosby shackles used on ebay
