totally worth the wait for "boutique fabbed" stuff for many reasons though.

 

It's hard to believe some people expect so much from such a small company. I will be happy to wait 6-12 months for mine as long as it's made with heart and soul...and some blood, sweat, and tears...

If you want fast, this ain't it.

I ordered my TRUSS rack through @runnin4tacos on a Thursday. Picked it up at their shop on Monday. I was expecting 2-4 weeks...not 2-4 days.

 

Sure, rub it in.

@upTOPoverland hear me out... What if you made a really crappy product, but shipped it quick? Sure, you could ship it quick because no one would want it, but that isn’t the point. Phase 1 is collect the underpants, Phase 3 is profit.

For me it will be 9 weeks, but I’m patient
Now another month goes by and I’ll be sending an email, just because I don’t want to install in the cold....

 

The rack is a perfect fit for my tent and it’s low profile so I can pull into the garage. Very happy with it.

 

I know so many of us are so excited to get them installed, it's hard to hold back! I get that, but this is the response I'm so excited to hear. Real people, doing real things! These racks are so BA, they're definitely worth the wait!

 

So frickin pumped for my rack. I’ve been rocking an oem one for several years and I think it’s time for an upgrade. Bummer that it won’t be here in time for my Yellowstone trip but hey on the bright side that just means I get to plan another trip when it does get here!

 

I had to get a '20 in Jan after '18 exited the chat. Moved the OEM rack over to the '20. Guess who has two thumbs and hasn't had a working roof rack since Jan?

Appreciate you telling us how it's going. I'm on week 8 and I'm super impatient, but I respect your hard work and I think it's worth the wait for such a premium product. I can't wait to get my Truss and I thank you guys for busting your ass for us.

A couple pictures, from recent trips

 

Was able to haul this massive canoe all around the North Maine Woods for a week with the alpha rack. The yellow scene pods were great at campsites, and the light bar up front went to great use helping others set up a ground tent in the dark. I did manage to bend the shit out of my extend-a-truck on a bigger than expected pothole though

 

Just got my bike mount in for the truss. What kind of mount do you all use with this attachment for a mountain bike?
