A homemade miso ramen bowl with a pork tenderloin that was seasoned with a little something something from @bvbull200

People always ask where's the broth ...
    IMG_20200910_180150501.jpg
It's there.. the other ingredients are just layered over it.. makes for better pictures that way... Once the camera is put away.. all the bits get mixed together.

Showed to lovely Asian wife. She said, looks western, would eat, no corn.

I would hound that sucker down, no egg.

    Nice work!!

Thank you and it's surprising how many people wouldn't eat the eggs... they're soft boiled and then soaked in a mixture of mirin and soy sauce with a bit of water.. that's why the outsides are brown .. They're fantastic really! .. and now that I'm better at soft boiling them I feel like it's time to make some Scotch Eggs.

The first time I made my own Ramen I spent the day before making Chashu which is more traditional..but it's a LOT of work for one dish.. smoking or grilling a pork tenderloin is far easier and faster LOL Wondering what your wife would put in her bowl?

Also.. I used the black rice noodles which are not traditional either but they are gluten free.
