Hi Gents. New to NC (Ft. Bragg) and just wanted to introduce myself. I have been a member on here since 08 but more active in the AZ group.

I’m curious to know if any of you have pointers for some wheeling around here or anywhere really in NC.

that's right. the victory rack is dead silent, at least on my truck, since the fairing has a bulb seal on the bottom there is no gap for air to get through and make noise.

@jlemmond I suggest putting some of this down where the fairing meets the paint. I didn't do it initially and now it's pretty scratched up (can be buffed out if I wanted to).

Due Diligence on the new house ends today and the appraiser had a death in the family and can't get me the appraisal back in time.

 

all you need is basic tools. It's not hard. I installed mine alone...def would be better with two people though.

Get some of this as well to seal it off when you mount it, this stuff is the shit.

Yea i was refering to the RTV. My dads gonna give me a hand with the install. I only need a second pair of hands when it comes time to lift it up and put it on the roof.

That's not a you problem.. Sounds like they need to find someone to fill in for them.

 

Your're right but appraisals are SUPER backed up, not something that can be turned around in a day. But looks like we are going to all agree to extend DD until end of next week so no issues.

yeah it sucks, but I agree. They should have a backup plan for things like this.
