    Yes, I also had the Sport (no fake hood scoop though, lol), with alloy wheels.

    That truck was a beast- in 19 years it never once left me stranded- over 200k on the original clutch and the engine was still strong.

    The Friday before Presidents’ Day 2016 the temperature was in the single digits- I was backing out of the driveway and there was a puddle of coolant under the truck- replacing the water pump was a big job the required removing the radiator, power steering, etc. and I wasn’t looking forward to doing the work in my driveway in 10 degree weather. The rear differential was getting ready to grenade, the frame was getting pretty rusted etc- I decided right then to get a new truck.

    Drove the new Taco home that Monday morning. It was pretty much exactly what I was looking for. The salesman told me it was on the lot since November and wasn’t selling because of the color- Quicksand.

    I agreed but to me it was one of the best looking trucks I had ever seen- lol.

    Funny how things work out sometimes.
