    thanks for posting this! nice progress. i was wondering about the angle of the tent, and if it would make more sense to open the other way.. it it because you open it up by standing in the bed? and the view from inside is bigger when opened out in the direction of the taigate? i thought maybe this way would be easier to climb up and give more sleeping room

    Opening the way you show, you are losing the headroom at the rear of the truck bed.

    The Vagabond way, I have standing headroom at the front of the truck bed and over 8' at the rear. When I duck inside the camper I can immediately stand up full height.
