me too, figured theres so many p245 takeoffs in great condition why bother with dishing out $1000 on new Michs, the TOYOs run great they just seem to pickup a lot of small rocks in the tread and they are made in Japan, hopefuly the treadlife is good, Checkout Walmart.com tires some good deals there

Picked up the Firestone Destinations for $400. 2019 Taco take offs on steelies with no miles on them. I'm about to pull some valvestems into them. Don't care about the TPMS.

They were only broken down on the tpms side so the balance should be fine.20200104_151737(1).jpg 20200104_152301.jpg

I popped a Dunflop at 1000 miles and it was $116 to replace and balance mount + taxes. They were quiet and soft ride, so I guess it depends how often you care to go to the tire shop lol. Got rid of em at about 12,000 and they were kinda half worn.

These popped right back on the beads nicely. Ready to roll when one of my Toyos pops.

11/32" of tread by my TD tool.

We just got a new wrangler that came with Michelin ltx ms2 245/70r17. Replaced with 35s immediately so they're just sitting in my garage collecting dust. Nobody wants them on the wrangler forums. Selling all 4 for $225 if anyone wants them. They're literally brand new.
Was gonna list on offer up but people are sketchy on there in California

I would try CRAIGSLIST, I agree that OFFER-UP site as soon as I open it in my computer my Norton security goes off and flags it as hazardous

Long Island NY, right around zip 11764, free.
One tire has a slightly leaky plug in it, but I'm confident it'll hold air if replugged.

Wouldn't that be worse than offer up since there are no seller ratings?
I'll give it a shot though if they don't sell on here. Just want enough money from the sale to buy 1 spare 35 inch tire.

I have to clear out some storage space within a month or two, chances are these will be sold to the local used tire place at that point, hence no charge if picked up by TW folks.

FYI, I had to get rid of some items from my late fathers estate and I donated a lot of unwanted but hard to sell or throw away items to the Salvation army center and I could estimate their worth get a receipt and claim it as a Charitable donation on my income tax at the end of the year. its a good way of at least getting some monetary return on items you'd otherwise throw in the dump, furniture, old clothes, even tires

Y'all ever use FB Marketplace? I like it more than CL. Todays CL deal made me realize how much I love FB over CL--most of the sellers on CL are idiots.

Well, 30,000 miles, 18,000 miles on the Toyos. Started driving to work and 1/4 mile on my dirt road something felt off. Stopped and walked around. Right front half flat. Drove it home and took the wife's Miata to work.

Found the leak tonight and thought I might plug it but it opened up when I stuck the rasp in it. Rock cut 1.5"long. 4/32" of tread and the right rear tire that I moved forward a couple weeks ago. I put on a 5/32" tread Hancook from my last batch. Not sure that I'm ready to put the new Firestones on. I want a few more miles out of this set but have mismatched wheels. Feeling like the honey badger about it though and may run mismatched till another one pops lol. 20200210_174726.jpg

Took a look at my Toyos mid-week and they looked downright dangerous. 34,600 miles on the odo, 22,000 miles on 3 of the Toyos. Just put on the latest set of new Firestone Destination take-offs. Back to looking like a Terminix truck. AR flint roads are hell on tires.20200912_132737-jpg_6e3f1bab06949dfef90a488806db1785f93afcf5.jpg

Firestones got a rock cut at 52,200mi. Put on 2 GY and 2 HK, 13/32". Down to 7/32"HK and 8/32"GY at 60,500mi

Tires are like brakes and guns, dont cheap out. Always run Michelins but the Defenders I had were unimpressive.
