Broke the CV going up backside again. Almost got to the top and ended up in a bad spot.

I got the biggest chunk out, but when I aired it back up, you could hear the air coming out. Decided to just swap it for the spare. I’ll de-bead it tomorrow and clean it out.

Looks like y'all had a good time.
I walked out this morning and saw some fluid under the truck. Upon further inspection, I found the rear differential leaking fluid. Looks like I'm going to the shop next week.

Mine did the same thing. Check the bolts, 1/2 to 2/3 of the bolts were loose. I thought I was going to have to replace the gasket, just had to tight the bolts up. As a added measure I got the black silicone gasket sealant and put it around the inside of the third member after I cleaned everything good. Also, let the truck sit for a day before I drove it. It didn’t leak again.

did you pull the third member out to put the gasket sealant on? I don't have the stuff at my house to pull the third member. I'll try tightening the bolts in the AM and clean everything. I think being 12 years old just means it needs some new sealant, but I can't do it here.

I did not put it. My tacoma was about 5-6 years old with around 170,000 miles on her, when it started dripping fluid on the ground. My dad told me to check the bolts.
