Driveshaft nut... the one on the output shaft from the transfer case.

I replaced the u joints on my 2005 4x4 tacomas and somehow lost one of the 11mm, 1x30 nuts for the front connection. I know it's a longshot, but, Im in the Buford, suwanee area. Anyone got one?

Local dealers are out, or not open today.

 

Id pop one off and take it to your local auto parts store and see if they can measure it and maybe they’ll have one for you

 

Did that, well, hit ace hardware's fastener section. Lots of 10mm and 12. No 11mm. Everything else was closed. Thanks for the idea though!

 

11mm is oddball metric diameter. No one is going to have one on the shelf.

You're better off waiting for Monday and getting one from the dealer.

Those are the standard coarse and fine threads for the 11mm nut. I didn't really understand what thread pitch you meant by 11mm, 1x30.

 

One of the 4 that connects the front of the driveshaft to the T case? I have one, but im in VA

 

Yeah those are the ones... I'll just hit the dealer tomorrow.

You can replace them with 7/16" grade 8 bolts and nuts.

 

I ended up having a set from a local dealer. Funny story... just this past weekend I pulled the 2 rear most skid plates... among the mud and rocks that fell was the nut. I had done this when I lost it and found nothing. I think it was in the frame cross member and finally rattled close enough to a hole to fall out... now I have an extra set.
