What’re some tires you folks run that aren’t E load or tough? I don’t want to suffer ride quality nor do i care about payload capacities.

*AT and hybrid tires in particular*

Not loud, and really good ride quality.

    Off-road traction is a +

How many miles do you have on them and approximately how many do you think you have left?

I have about 18,000 miles on them. I’d say they’re right around 20-25,000 miles left. I probably won’t experience those miles though, upgrading to 35s.

What PSI do you run the tires at?

For the first few thousand miles I left it up to the tire shop, didn’t really pay much attention. The ride was crappy. Until a friend of mine told me my PSI was probably to high. The shop had them at 45 PSI!

I ride now around 30 PSI. Way more comfortable.

Wow that’s a difference in air pressure for sure. But since the tires were originally at 45 PSI did you happen to notice premature wear on any of the tires?

What were your MPG and accelerations looking like with that tire setup?

That’s probably not really gonna be relevant unless you have the same setup as me.

I have a lead foot so i’m averaging around 14/15 mph... that being said...

I have full steel skid plates, roof rack, and steel front bumper.

I’m also running a 2inch OME lift kit with HD rear leafs.

without the weigh, the tires probably wouldn’t have affected MPG/acceleration too much. I was around 19/20 stock on 265s

I was just curious to know. I won’t be planning to run aftermarket bumpers nor a roof rack. I heard too that the bigger tires slow you down more on deceleration, is that something you experience?

It’s hardly noticeable, actually I would say it’s not noticeable at all.
