All ready for the cold season. Also got the CRC spray done for my frame and new rear springs last week all under recalls.

I like the color and the quality of it looks good too. I definitely don't like the badges but it's your truck, you should be you.

 

Officially broken in. Outside of routine maintenance, all I've had to replace was a silly alternator. Couldn't imagine myself in another truck

 

Would love to know what the suspension looks like ,what kind of upgrades !

 

Well I cleaned up the damage from Potts and on the plus side I will never have to look at one of those fender clips ever again. (I have not tried buffing any of the scratches out) Countersunk some screws in with washers and lock nuts on the back. Used backer rod for the area in between and to limit the rattling.

 

Had a true moment of stupidity today.

Wife and I are moving across the country Tuesday. So today I was going to do a quick oil change in the driveway before I close up the last of the garage boxes.

So, after taking off the skid plates to grease the ujoints and make the oil change easier...I drained the AT fluid.

Oops.

So a half hour job turned into a three hour job with extra trip to the auto parts store and dealership and learning the OBD jumper trick to get the truck into temperature check mode and make sure the AT fluid was filled to correct level.

On the bright side, at 135k miles I still I had not changed my AT fluid and she needed it.

picked up a used camper cap with some goodies...awning was my first edition! ive been a RTT guy since they first came out but sold that to give the more low proflie set up a go! found one color matched and I think it looks pretty slick

Been holding onto this sticker for about 2 years waiting to put it somewhere worth while. Just got my tacoma about 10 days ago and finally found the sticker lol

Thanks I feel like trying to read all the threads and find out info but its an ecstatic

 

Before I had these with my height at 6’3” the bottom of my thighs would not be touching the seat. Now I feel like I am really planted in the seat and on my last long drive just felt overall better during it.

 

Great choice on the set up

 

When you do find something jump on it if you can because many things are only around briefly. Some things like oem take off parts can come around and you’ll learn the hard way which ones aren’t.

 

Been keeping busy with the truck. The last week or so changed spark plugs, throttle body cleaned, brakes replaced/rotors turned, finally got the wiring for my roof rack done and after a long 3 month wait....I finally got my RTT installed. Super stoked and can’t wait to take it out. Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos with it open.
