I just installed these lights and have them mostly working properly. The only lights not working are the small LED lights around the bottom. They have a black and red wire and there is four of the LED lights. I think they are mainly for show.

Question is, because these are LED do I need anything to make them work? I wired them into the running lights wire and they did not work. Do I need a transformer or anything?
