That's the one I've been checking out. 3CFM, not too big or too heavy I don't think.

So I have one of these in my 4Runner, been at least 2 years now. The other day I was questioning if it IS an AGM because of the caps on top. I don't know much about these things. Any idea why it has the 6 "caps" on top?

Seven disturbances at once. It is the peak of hurricane season though. Most won't even get near us. Then again, like you said it is 2020.

The caps cover the cells, I'm assuming you mean the ones that go all the way across the top.

I was looking at and had decided on the 400-RV but looking at the prices now I may just go with a mounted system with a tank. Last I looked the 400 kit it was $265. Now it’s $312. Not much more for a installed one with a 2 gallon tank. Mine will be going in a 1 ton truck though so there will be more room for it.

Interesting . Those look on the DieHard to be spun on and sealed so no taking them off.

Most AGMs (the ones I've seen at least) are all completely sealed and there isn't really any servicing them. That instruction website you posted those batts look like little ones you'd use in a power wheel or something but I didn't think you had to add the electrolyte I know like motorcycle/atv lead acid batts come with the acid to add to them like that. That's why I assumed after opening it and looking at the pics :anonymous:. IDK maybe those are serviceable or something.

Maybe just a stock photo just photoshopped with the agm labels i have no clue. Oh well on a side note I think that DieHard batts are made by northstar I could be mistaken though.

The DieHard Platinum line is made by EnerSys, which also makes its own line of premium Odyssey batteries manufactured in the United States.[3]

The DieHard brand is also used on battery chargers, booster cables, power inverters, alkaline batteries, tires, work boots, and more recently the batteries for Craftsman power tools.
