DRL issues

Hey all, I have a 2015 Prerunner SR5 V6. A few years ago I did the anytime on fog light mod and they worked, well, anytime. The other day I noticed that my fogs weren't on with my DRL. I checked the DRL and found that they work only in the parking light position on the stalk and with the headlights on, but not in the DRL position on the stalk. The fogs only work when in the off position. I swapped the relay with the same results. I checked the fuse under the dash and under the hood and they were ok. Hmmm, anyone have an idea whats going on?

After fiddling around, I re crimped the anytime on fog connections and replaced the fog light switch. Between doing those 2 things, the DRL and the fogs are working as they should now. Which of those 2 operations did the trick I have no idea. Go figure.
