Those of you that added a full skid package what did you do with these triangulating supports? I’m looking at the RCI skids but can’t tell what happens to these braces or the ones up front. Mu guess is the rear ones are designed to triangulate the cross member and add rigidity.

This will not become a rock bashing rig. Just needWhat skids do all run?

Yo!! I had never seen an unscratched exhaust pipe. Mine is practically inline with the cross member. I am also looking for skid plates.

Hmmmm! That's a good question that I would like to know the answer to. I took mine off. Figured they were there to keep people from easily sawing off and stealing the converters. Never thought about them being braces----if they are. Don't see how you can keep them and install the skid plate that goes behind the front skid plate.

Those bars come off if you put skid plates on.

They go away when you put your full skid on.

You're talking about these right? They don't add structural stability, I believe theyre there to protect the cat. They get taken off when you do full skids

For the BAMF skids I took them off since they wouldn't bolt back on with the mid skid. Any aftermerket skid will connect both frame rails anyhow.
