We are struggling to find a truck bed air mattress for our 2019 TRD pro short bed. We have the tent, but need the mattress.... someone tell me what one works?!

$285 for an air mattress :puke:

How about $20 for a twin or full size Intex, and call it good.

    stuff and things...
i have the same one in my truck and use it often. i put the short bed mattress in my long bed because the canister for my tonneau takes up about a foot at the head and it fits perfect. i could never get the tailgate pad to stay attached so i don't bother with it. The battery usually lasts ~20 fill-ups or so between charges.

Another vote for AirBedz! Super comfortable, durable and easy to inflate.

Very interested in these...I keep a small bed tent in the storage area behind my seats and a Thermarest pad stored there also. Is this Megamat something you can store behind/under the seats? It looks a LOT larger than the Theramrest.

Depending on which one you get and how you pack it. The single person ones would fit for sure, the bigger ones you might have to get creative with the folding

Megamat. It’s more comfortable then my bed at home. $$$$ but if your going to use it a lot it’s worth it. It’s also has a high r value and is warm for winter camping.

Tacoma- 16" method nv, but some plans are forming thanks to TW. Bronco- 11" lift, 38x15.50, want to diesel motor/driveline
My wife and I are looking to start camping more and, me not wanting to spend 10k on an outrageous overland setup nor use her explorer, I looked into the bed tent to start out with. Is the Airbedz mattress a good fit for an sr5 short bed? I only ask cause it looks like the pics I've seen around are showing a 2nd gen truck. Thanks in advance

The Airbedz fits my 2018 DCSB perfectly. It has cutouts for the wheel wells and fits the bed perfectly. I just slept on mine last week.

Definitely appreciate the feedback, @Alden how does the soft camper fit for sleeping in? I ask cause the SB seems small for 2 people (it'd be my wife and I w/2 dogs) to sleep in, which is why I was gonna go with the bed tent.

To each their own, I’ve seen people spend more on useless stuff for these trucks
