TonneauCoversWorld vs RealTruck

Both websites seem to be run by same company. I went on each separately and opened separate chat boxes to buy a Gator SFX cover for 3rd GenTacoma. Asked for discounts separately. Tonneau Covers World chopped $25 bucks right off the top while competing for prices. Just thought I would share. Happy Friday

I just asked also for a discount on the TonneauCoversWorld.com site as you suggested. The lady on the chat said that RealTruck is their main site and TonneauCoversWorld is also theirs. She gave me a discount for my 2019 Tacoma 5 Bed - "I have this pulled up for your vehicle priced at $1269.00 I can give a discount making it $1167.48 with free shipping before tax." Invoice came from RealTruck.com - Thanks for the original post @neilcatmasterjazz - I would not have thought of just asking for a discount.

 

FYI. I ordered some side steps from the Real Truck guys. Upon install one of the nuts stripped (the nuts that are inserted into the steps). Honestly, it was kind of my fault because I probably over tightened it. I called them to discuss and without hesitation they sent me a new set. Funny enough, the ones they sent were the wrong ones. So they immediately arranged to have them shipped back on their dollar and finally sent the correct ones. I share that to say they really had great customer service throughout the whole process. I couldn't have been happier with the transaction. So if I need something for the truck I check there first to see if they have it. I feel like when a company has that kind of service -- above and beyond -- they deserve to be rewarded.
