Oceano Dunes

Hello everyone. Long time lurker on here, finally have a reason to make an account. Was planning on going up to Cleghorn this weekend until the news of all parks being closed. So my question is, will the Oceano dunes at Pismo beach be closed as well? I can’t find anything online about it. To add, is there any ohv/off road area that is open? TIA.

 

Not sue about Pismo.

I think off road activity is done for the season, unless you head to the desert, find some BLM land or an OHV park that's not in the NF, like Hungry Valley or Hollister Hills.

 

pismo is closed. had a reservation that i made back in FEB for this month and was contacted last month that they will remain closed as they have been for the greater part of the year.

 

That’s what I suspected. Bummer.

 

Yea, everything there is pretty much closed. Morro bay area is great for day camping.
